Position Description
The WIC Community Outreach Intern will assist with the annual participation satisfaction survey.


  •  Analyze survey results and create graphs & charts to display data
  •  Answer survey related questions as requested
  •  Attend WIC team and other meetings as needed
  •  Attend trainings in order to gain a better understanding of WIC and strategic partners

  •  Experience with survey programs

  •  Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  •  Ability to work with a diverse staff and participant population
  •  Fluency in Spanish a plus but not required
  •  Excellent communication skills

 Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time & lift medium sized boxes of information
 Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines

 Reports to Division of Community Nutrition’s Community Outreach Coordinator

Time Commitment
 15-30 hours/week
 Fall Semester (August 2017 – December 2017)

Compensation Unpaid • School Credit Available (contingent upon review of VDH & College/University requirements)
