Position Description
The WIC Community Outreach Intern will assist with the annual participation satisfaction survey.
Accountabilities
- Analyze survey results and create graphs & charts to display data
- Answer survey related questions as requested
- Attend WIC team and other meetings as needed
- Attend trainings in order to gain a better understanding of WIC and strategic partners

Qualifications
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with survey programs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work with a diverse staff and participant population
- Fluency in Spanish a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time & lift medium sized boxes of information
Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines
Supervision
Reports to Division of Community Nutrition’s Community Outreach Coordinator
Time Commitment
15-30 hours/week
Fall Semester (August 2017 – December 2017)
Compensation Unpaid • School Credit Available (contingent upon review of VDH & College/University requirements)
