Sage Communications, a full service, integrated marketing communications firm based in McLean, Va., is seeking interns to join our dynamic public relations team. Sage’s internship program draws top talent from universities and colleges around the country, and we are currently accepting resumes for our paid fall internship.
Our interns are more than glorified personal assistants; they are an integral part of all account teams. Candidates must possess a can-do attitude, as they’ll be asked to work side-by-side with account managers to enact award-winning campaigns for clients like the DC Jazz Festival, Hitachi, SAP NS2, Dell and others.
Four reasons why you want to join our dynamic PR team as an intern this fall:
- Big opportunity: We are a rapidly growing company and many of our interns go on to become full-time employees.
- Meaningful work: Our internship program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to learn public relations and communications first-hand, from strategy to execution.
- Wide exposure: Interns will be exposed to a wide range of industries from technology and government contracting to healthcare and nonprofit, giving them an inside look at how organizations from Amazon Web Services to the National Cherry Blossom Festival conduct their communications.
- Boisterous atmosphere: You will be working alongside a young, fun and enthusiastic team that encourages creativity, initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The ideal candidate is a college junior or senior who possesses strong writing, communications and interpersonal skills. Applicants should also have a strong desire to enter the communications field and be willing to work at least 20 hours a week for 12 weeks.
If you are interested in learning about public relations from the best in the business, we want to hear from you. Please send your resume and cover letter to email@example.com.
IMPORTANT: Please include the days of the week and specific times you are available to work as well as the amount of hours per day you can dedicate to the position.
