Nextier Group, LLC is a marketing firm in Richmond, Virginia specializing in digital advertising, graphic design, web design/development, and mobile app design/development. Intern Responsibilities

Nextier Group, LLC is looking for two content marketing and advertising interns to join our dynamic company and support the overall marketing organizational strategy. This is a great opportunity to showcase writing and creative skills in a professional environment. You will be flexing your creativity as you strategically develop ways to connect clients to Nextier!

The intern will work directly with a thought leader and according to content plans and schedules to achieve short and long-term goals. He/she will deliver valuable content to the company's audience while telling the company story through content like blogs, web copy, video, and e-books. The ideal candidate is self-directed, motivated and creative with strong communication, writing, and organization skills. Please note this internship is writing intensive.  At Nextier, we are passionate about creativity in the workplace.

Hours are flexible, with a minimum of ten hours per week. This position is available starting September, and end date/holiday schedule is flexible. The intern will work out of our office located at 10 E. Franklin Street, Suite 500.


Intern Qualifications

  • Strong communication (oral and written) skills
  • General business knowledge – some business courses or working in an office
  • Current student at the Junior or Senior level majoring in marketing, creative writing, journalism/print-online, or related fields.
  • Must be motivated, self-directed, and possess strong time management skills
  • Detail oriented
