Name of Business
Type of internship
Advertising/Marketing with a Social Media specialty (in addition a specialty in Print Journalism or Public Relations would also be beneficial)
Description of Organization
Hampton House is a small, family-owned and operated high end gift store that specializes in bridal registries. It is located on The Avenues near the corner of Libbie & Grove. The store has been in our family since 1986, but was a Richmond landmark even before that. We are small and pride ourselves in our attention to detail and customer service. Please feel free to come by or visit our website at www.hamptonhousegifts.com.
We are looking for a Tech-Savvy intern who can assist us with marketing and social media on multiple platforms. We are interested in assistance with Facebook and other social media outlet suggestions and search engine optimization and/or website marketing suggestions (we have a website company that can do the updates to our site). We also have run a few ads with Richmond Times Dispatch and other outlets, and plan to run some more, so suggestions there would also be welcome. We attend markets and Bridal shows and are always looking for new recommendations on how to reach our clients at these events. We would love help in moving into this new, technically savvy generation and are open to all ideas on how to attract young brides and new clientele .
Social media & marketing experience. Experience with search engine optimization or any retail experience is a plus.
Anytime, but as soon as possible is preferred.
We can offer great discounts at our store and may have an opportunity for future, part-time paid work for the right candidate.
