Fall 2016: Democratic Party of Virginia - Digital Intern

The Democratic Party of Virginia is seeking digital interns to join our Digital Department. This is a great opportunity for a student seeking a career in politics, digital media, social media management, advertising, or communications. You will help us connect with voters and constituents about all of the exciting activity around this year's election. 

The intern will assist the Digial Director on various projects and task to gain experience in the field of digital program execution. Interns will work with a wide variety of project including website updates, email marketing (copy and editing), social media strategy, communications palnning, research, video production, graphic design, analytics and much more. 

Time Commitment: At least 10 hours a week.

Desired Qualifications: Excellent writing skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, interest in Democratic politics, enrolled in a college degree and able to receive college credit. 

Desired Majors: Mass Communications, Political Science, Journalism, Public Relations
