The Commonwealth Times is the award-winning independent student press of Virginia Commonwealth University. The CT publishes a 10-12 page newspaper every Monday and frequently updates the CT website with VCU/Richmond related news. The ideal candidate has journalism writing and marketing experience, knows how to code and operate WordPress, works well with a large team of people and is up-to-date on current events. This is an unpaid internship. Interns are expected to work nine hours a week by interacting with the VCU community on campus and from home or office.

Goochland Farmers Market is a small boutique market located in Goochland Courthouse, about 15 miles west of Short Pump. The market was founded in 2015 and is held on Tuesdays from 3:30-6:30pm, May through September. GFM averages 8-10 vendors and 150 customers per market. Carytown Farmers Market is located in Richmond’s upscale Carytown section. The market was founded in 2013, and is held on Sundays from 11am-3pm, May through October. The present day Henry Clay Inn opened on April 10, 1992. The exterior of the inn is an exact replica of its predecessors (recreated from photographs). The interior houses 13 guest rooms, a Parlor that opens onto the balcony overlooking the Ashland Visitors Center/train station and the campus of RMC, and a drawing room suitable for business and social functions.
