Susan Cramer is an academic advisor at the Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture. Her primary duties include providing support and guidance to students in their academic and career planning. She helps students understand curriculum requirements and deadlines, how to navigate university processes and procedures, and connect them to resources. She serves as a liaison to other university departments and assists in the development of assessment and outcome measures.
Cramer joined VCU in 2008 as an academic advisor in VCU’s University College where she advised first and second year business students. Before coming to VCU, she was a Senior Vice President at Bank of America where she had worked in various capacities for over 25 years.
Cramer earned her M.Ed. in Counselor Education from VCU in 2008 and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia in 1977.
