Robertson School hosts RABJ New Media Master Class on Nov. 17

The Robertson School will host the New Media Master Class of the Richmond Association of Black Journalists on Nov. 17.

The Robertson School will host a New Media Master Class and panel discussion on Saturday, Nov. 17. The event will be presented by the Richmond Association of Black Journalists (RABJ) and the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).

Students will have the opportunity to interact with and learn from a wide variety of media professionals, including the following:

Kym Grinnage, Vice President & General Manager, NBC12

Tyra Whitney, M.A., Producer, ABC8

Deeva Payne, Producer, CBS6

Yonni Rude, Operations Manager, Radio One Richmond

Alex Whittler, Reporter/Fill-In Anchor, NBC12

Reporter Aaron Thomas from WRIC-TV will serve as the RABJ event coordinator and moderator. Dr. Clarence Thomas, assisted by Prof. Aloni Hill and Mrs. Frances Lynch, is the Robertson School coordinator for the event.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in room 2211 of the Temple building on the VCU Monroe Park Campus at 901 West Main St.
