Robertson School celebrates international One Show winner

The Robertson School of Media and Culture is excited to announce that it has a One Show winner among this year's Young Ones Award finalists. The Young Ones Awards identify the best young creative talent from around the world in a variety of creative disciplines. 

Robertson School advertising students Evangline Zarpas and Helena Williams created a campaign around a Burger King brief that challenged students to re-envision the digital coupon. Their campaign won a merit award in the Young Ones Brief competition.

Zarpas and Williams created the campaign as an assignment in their MASC 394 Imagination class in the advertising sequence. Their professor Bridget Camden said that their achievement at the Young Ones Award is even more amazing considering that they have not even begun their portfolio classes in the School's curriculum. 

The campaign work is currently published in the One Club's online database and will be published and distributed widely in the One Show Annual this fall. The majority of the winners in this international competition are from graduate schools and four-year art schools with winners from as far away as China, Sweden, Canada, and England.
