Public lecture on Latinx stereotypes in the U.S. media

The Robertson School of Media and Culture is co-sponsoring a public lecture during Hispanic Heritage Month with the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA). Vivian Medina-Messner, instructor in the Robertson School's journalism program, will talk about "Dispelling Myths: Latinx Stereotypes in the U.S. Media." The lecture will be on Friday, Sept. 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the University Student Commons, room 215. It is free and open to the public.
