Where are you from and where did you work, or study, previously?
I moved from North Dakota where I was a member of the Air National Guard. I graduated from the University of North Dakota, where I received my bachelor's in communication with a minor in Chinese Studies and my master's in higher education. Throughout my academic career, I worked in direct support to help professional individuals with autism. Additionally, I was an adviser in the office of Multicultural Programs and Services.
What will be your role in the Robertson School?
My role in the Robertson School will be to advise foundation concentration students and work with the change of major workshops, retention and overall development goals for the department.
What is your advising philosophy?
My advising philosophy is grounded in authenticity and mentorship. My goal is to leverage my experiences to best serve and connect students to opportunities and resources for personal and professional development.
What hobbies and interests do you have outside of advising?
I really enjoy reading, writing, playing music and traveling. Additionally, I am interested in philanthropy and entrepreneurship.
