Advertising students win regional and local ADDY Awards

Gold ADDY Award winner for Tampax packaging: Art director Madeline Honig, creative director Jay Adams.

Advertising students at the Robertson School of Media and Culture have won 11 ADDY Awards of the American Advertising Federation. Guided by Professors Jay Adams and Marcel Jennings, the students won a Gold and a Silver ADDY Award at the AAF District 3 competition (North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia).

In addition, students won nine Silver ADDY Awards at the local level student competition hosted by the Hampton Roads chapter. The regional winners will now advance to the National ADDY competition that takes place in Palm Springs in Florida this summer

"Congratulations to our outstanding advertising students and their Professors Jay Adams and Marcel Jennings," said Dr. Marcus Messner, interim director of the Robertson School. "They are making us Robertson proud."
