Summer 2024: Hardywood Park Craft Brewery - Marketing & Event Intern (Stipend)

Description 

  • Assist in ensuring proactive planning, communication, and scheduling of a wide variety of events including annual festivals, concerts, private events, and sales meetings
  • Assist in public program development for the taproom 
  • Work closely with the Events Manager for the successful execution of both public and private events including day of coordination, catering and planning 
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to help plan and execute marketing activities including social media, event promotion, graphic design, and website management 
  • Acting as Hardywood representative during festivals working alongside the Hardywood Marketing and Events team 
  • Work alongside the Marketing & Event Coordinator to assist with band sound and festival stage management 

Requirements 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Exceptional customer service skills 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment 
  • Desire to learn about event and programming, both public and private, and get familiar with industry software 
  • Desire to learn about marketing best practices and get familiar with design software
  • Must have reliable transportation, internship takes place at both Hardywood locations
  • Must have some weekend availability 
  • Must be at least 18 years old 
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to remain on feet, and ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Internship Details

  • Time commitment: 15-20/week 
  • 3 course credits / 150 hours worked 
  • Stipend available upon completion of the internship ($500)
