Are you organized, reliable and enjoy creative writing? Would you like to add professionalexperience to your resume as a VP of Communications?
Then apply to be an academic intern for our non-profit organization, Jewish Life at VCU.

This internship will require you to be an independent, methodological worker as you will behelping us preparing and circulating news articles, donor newsletters, testimonials fromparticipants, and social media communications.

The Internship is flexible and looking for someone immediately. Minimum of a one semestercommitment, (full academic year option may be available).
 
Responsibilities  
 Available 4-8 hours per week Communicate weekly with executive director for assignment Collecting and drafting stories and personal reflections for print Preparation and editing of publications Administrative work in coordinating print material Interviewing participants and donors
 
Qualifications 
 2.5 GPA Excellent written communication Able to work and interact with others in effective and respectful manner Writes clearly and informatively Dependability - follows direction; responds to management; keeps commitments Quick to train Outstanding organizational skills, and able to work independently 
 
Logistics 
 1-3 Units offered, hours based on department
