Robertson School to host lecture on Trump and the Media

The VCU Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture will host a lecture, “Trump vs. the Media,” next Thursday as part of the School’s Turpin Lecture Series.

Wyatt Andrews will serve as the lecturer. Andrews is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Media Studies at the University of Virginia and a former national news correspondent for CBS. The lecture will discuss and analyze the current relationship between President Trump's administration and the U.S. media. A Q&A session will follow Andrews’s talk.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be held on Thursday, April 13th at 7 p.m. in Temple 1164 (901 W. Main St.). VCU Libraries (#vetyoursources) and SPJ at VCU are co-sponsoring the event with the Robertson School.
